TSgt. Gil DeVoe, USAF
40th ARRS, Udorn RTAFB 1969
The pararescue jumpers (PJs) on the Jolly Green
HH-53 were the crewmen who put their lives on the line (literally) when
they descended the cable hoist to assist injured survivors. It is one thing
to be flying above the enemy forces on the ground, but quite another to
be on the ground with them.
God bless the PJs of past, present and future.
